YAKIMA, Wash. - Yakima Valley Emergency Management want to remind you of snow safety if you are driving.
According to post on their Facebook, Emergency Management wants you to be aware that scraping and clearing your windows of snow is not enough if you plan on hitting the road.
In the pictures provided by Yakima Valley Emergency Management you can see that snow is blocking headlights which would make it hard for other drivers to see your car coming.
With leaving snow on the roof and hood of your car patches could fly off then blocking the vision of others which could make driving conditions worse.
Emergency Management wants to make sure you properly get your car ready for the road and that you allow yourself plenty of time to get to your destination.
