Report: Boy researched shooting on school issued laptop
WEST RICHLAND, Wash. -- According to an arrest report, a 13 year-old boy who planned to 'shoot-up' Enterprise Elementary, researched plans on his school issued Chrome Book.
A 13-year old student from Enterprise Middle School is being held in the Benton-Franklin Juvenile Detention Center after being arrested over the weekend. He’s accused of making threats to kill others at his school.
According to an arrest report, the 13 year-old searched things like 'selling of body parts, different varieties of guns, urban armory, homemade body armor, and school shooting memes.'
Authorities say the teen also told two friends about his plans to shoot people at the school and asked if they wanted to help him.
The witnesses told police that if they didn't want to shoot with him they could help by being a 'lookout'.
Court documents say the teen threatened the witnesses if they told anyone about his plans.
Court documents also show that the teen had access to firearms and showed one friend a couple of guns he said he would use in the shooting.
Prosecutors have not charged the boy with any crime yet.
