Richland art symposium inviting Parkinson's patients to explore new therapies
RICHLAND, Wash. - An upcoming symposium is inviting people with Parkinson's to explore new therapies through expression.
The Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation has announced its first art and movement symposium will be held in Richland Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Richland Community Center.
Organizers said the event is lighthearted and fun for all people impacted by the disease.
The symposium will feature a poetry workshop, lead by local poet Jordan Chaney, yoga workshops, improvisation and painting.
Attendees will also have the chance to get in contact with resources and sponsors at this event.
