RICHLAND, Wash. - Richland Police have arrested a man in relation to a shooting that happened last week.
According to a Facebook post on the Richland Police Facebook page on Wednesday, Police along with the assistance of the US Marshals Service located and arrested 31 year old Joshua M. Chavez on Tuesday.
He was arrested in relation to the shooting which took place in the 1000 block of Winslow last week.
Chavez was the male who fled the scene with a minor injury from the incident.
The post stated that a nationwide extradition warrant was obtained for his arrest for Assault in the First Degree, Drive By Shooting, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the First Degree.
Chavez was located in the Oregon and booked into the Umatilla County Jail awaiting extradition, according to police.
According to Richland PD more information on his arrest and his charges will come soon.
