Rifle stolen from deputy car in Moses Lake; $1500 reward for its return

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. - Deputies are offering a reward for the return of a rifle they say was stolen from a Grant County deputy's car.

The patrol car was parked outside a home in Moses Lake Wednesday morning when the AR-15-style rifle was taken, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the gun was locked in a security bracket, but the thief or thieves were able to defeat it.

The sheriff's office is now offering a $1,500 reward in the retrieval of this rifle. Moses Lake police are investigating.
