Senske light show adds surprise feature for weekend open house

For the last 16 years, Senske's light show has provided a popular family tradition without even having to get out of the car, but this weekend they want visitors to do just that.

They're welcoming families into their festively-decorated Kennewick headquarters for a free picture with Santa in exchange for cash or food donations to 2nd Harvest.

Marketing director Becca Presley says this year's light show features over 500 thousand lights synced with music and brought to life with 3-D glasses.

She says every year the display gets a little bit bigger and this year is no different.

"This year we have a surprise we're going to show off at the open house, but I'll let you in on it," she said. "We have a snow machine, so kids and adults alike are going to love this. It's a little snow machine that will play when Frosty is inflated. It's going to be fun."

Presley says vendors at Friday's open house are also donating some of their proceeds to 2nd Harvest.

If you don't make it to the open house, you can still drive past any night between sunset and midnight.

Listen to the music synced to the holiday light show by tuning your radio to 90.3 FM.
