The Benton County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect after he escaped when they tried to arrest him in Finley on Sunday.

Deputies said 47-year-old Jared Dickinson took off when they tried to arrest him on an outstanding warrant for trespassing.

Officials said he disappeared into a thicket of Russian Olive trees near SR 397 and Morton Rd.

Dickinson is described to be wearing Carhart overalls and a black, hooded top at the time.

The sheriff's office said they've been trying to contact Dickinson for a while, after multiple property-owners report the man sleeping in bushes on their land.

He's also been reported trespassing on the grounds of Sandvik Special Metals on Chemical Rd.

Officials don't think he's dangerous to the public, but said he's struggled with mental illness and threatened to kill deputies in the past.

Deputies ask that if you see him, don't make contact.

Just call 911 and report his whereabouts.
