Teen turns himself in and a fourth suspect arrested in Pasco drive-by shooting
PASCO, Wash. - Police say they have now arrested four suspects involved in a drive-by shooting that left a 20-year-old Pasco man shot in the chest.
The Pasco Police Department said detectives arrested 19-year-old Esmeralda Casbrera-Castro, of Moses Lake, Tuesday.
The fourth suspect involved, a 16-year-old boy from George, turned himself in to detectives Wednesday, police said.
Casbrera-Castro was booked in to Franklin County Jail and the 16-year-old was taken to Juvenile Detention, both on investigative holds for first degree attempted murder, drive-by shooting and criminal conspiracy.
Police had previously arrested two other suspects, Cesar Alejandro Mendoza, 20, of Royal City and a 16-year-old from Quincy. They were arrested Sunday evening after police said the two returned to Walmart where the incident began.
The group had allegedly followed the victim in his car after leaving the Walmart parking lot, then shot at him, hitting him in the chest.
Police detectives said while all suspects were accounted for, they're still working to gather evidence in this shooting.
