Tri-Cities Airport closing because of Heavy Snowfall

    PASCO, Wash.-- Tri-Cities Airport will close around 3 p.m. Saturday evening because of heavy snow fall.

    Crews are unable to clear the runways quick enough to allow for safe takeoff or landing at the airport, according to the Director for the Tri-Cities Airport, Buck Taft.

    Crews intend to reopen the airport Sunday morning, a specific time has yet to be determined.
