Kennewick, Wash. — The Vista Field urban town center celebrated their grand opening.
The town center includes fountains, ponds, a commercial plaza, and much more for the community to enjoy.
The end goal is to transform more than 100 acres into a community with mixed-use neighborhoods and urban lifestyle amenities.
Folks can expect see diverse local businesses as well as neighborhoods sharing the same public gathering space.
"We've broken the project up into a number of phases, this is phase 1 that we've got here today and there's twenty lots," said CEO, Tim Arntzen. "If you were to say, do you think it will all be taken down and processed in phase one within five years I'd say I hope so."
The town center is located at 6600 West Deschutes Avenue in Kennewick.
Organizers say developers can submit their proposals starting June 16.
