Walla Walla PD take four into custody after shooting in Milton-Freewater

    Walla Walla police took four people into custody after a shooting in Milton-Freewater, Ore.

    According to WWPD, the call for the shooting came in around 11:15 P.M. Friday

    After setting up officers around the city, a WWPD officer spotted a vehicle that matched the description and attempted to stop it.

    Officials say the vehicle took off and law enforcement pursued, including WWPD, Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington State Patrol.

    A WWCSO deputy deployed spike strips and the vehicle crashed at the Mill Creek bridge on 5 Mile Road. Four people fled the crash scene.

    Officers immediately took Charley Lozano Magana, 24, and Juan Esquivel Venegas,24, into custody.

    Another suspect, Michael Angelo Cantu, 27, was taken into custody at his home in Walla Walla.

    A juvenile suspect was also taken into custody after he used an Uber to get to Milton-Freewater.
