A well-known community member who spent his time giving back to the community has passed away after a hard-fought battle with COVID-19.
Tina Warner made the heartbreaking announcement that Richard Linderman had passed away over night on Wednesday.
Warner stated, "I'm truly heartbroken to say that Richard Linderman has passed away. He fought the biggest fight of his life. He touched many lives and if you knew him then you knew you were loved. He's done amazing things in the last 18 months and made such an impact and I guess God needed him more."
Richard Linderman was known in the Tri-Cities for his work out in the community with the group he founded, Incarceration to Inspiration.
Normally you could find Richard out with his group and other organizations giving back.
Richard and his fiance, Tina, both tested positive for COVID-19 in early August, but the symptoms took over Richard's body quickly.
A GoFundMe has been established to help family with funeral expenses.
