WSDOT preparing for "monumental proportions of snow" through Snoqualmie Pass
SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash.-- Treacherous conditions are expected through Snoqualmie Pass into Monday, with Washington State Department officials preparing for "monumental proportions of snow," according to Summer Derrey, with WSDOT.
If people have plans to travel through I-90 Derrey suggest people consider alternative routes.
Chains are required on all cars, with the exception of all wheel drive and oversized vehicles are prohibited.
Closures for avalanche control is planned for about 10 a.m. Monday morning according to WSDOT, Eastbound lanes only near Denny Creek and Westbound Traffic will not be stopped.
