HOUSTON (WOAI) — A graduation party in Houston turned deadly early Friday morning.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. at a home off Santa Cecilia Lane and San Lorenzo on Houston's Southeast Side.
Houston Police said there was a graduation party going on with adults present. At some point, the homeowner's boyfriend got into an argument with some of the guests and then started asking people to leave. He then went and got a gun and started shooting at the crowd, hitting one man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was taken into custody.
