I am happy to say I've made the Tri Cities my home for more than 26-years and have been at KEPR since June of 2017.
After graduating from both Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas and the Defense Information School in Indianapolis, Indiana, I began my broadcast journalism career in the United States Navy.
I served at Navy Broadcasting detachments in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and La Maddalena, Italy. While in Italy, I also served aboard the U.S.S. Orion (AS-18), a submarine tender, home-ported in La Maddalena.
While in La Maddalena, I received Navy public affairs awards for broadcast news and newspaper reporting.
After 5 1/2 years in the Navy, I worked as a morning anchor and reporter at KWES-TV in my hometown of Midland, Texas from 1992 to 1995.
In 1995, I moved to the Tri Cities, working at one of the local affiliates for 16 years.
I have thoroughly enjoyed providing the news and happenings in our part of the state for more than a quarter of a century.
While I'm not working, I'm busy spending time with my two teenage sons.
We enjoy sports (go Astros & Mariners!), snow skiing and snowboarding, traveling, photography and home video projects.
Thanks so much for watching KEPR Action News!!!
